My goal was to create a VN engine and a proof of concept for the original 1989 DMG Nintendo Gameboy
Sadly I didn't get around to spending any time on this goal until less than 14 days were available and November ended up being a very big month for me, the majority of the content was created in the last 48 hours (some art even being done with less than an hour before the deadline)
This game was made in GBZ80 assembly language using RGBDS! A basic engine was written during the Game Jam and took up the majority of the development time, with some dedicated effort for producing content I'm confident that I have at least created a solid base for future VN's on this 8-bit console!

When you wanna show off your weird programming skills to the entire class.
Woah, an actual gameboy compatible FVN? You're certainly taking the retro theme to it's logical extreme.
That one sprite movement made me laugh so hard because it made it so obvious that you could've chosen to hide it with the textbox but chose not to XD
